Backstage News On The Morale In AEW Following Dynamite

The biggest story coming out of All Elite Wrestling over the past few days is the comments made by CM Punk on Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, which led to a huge backstage brawl and that would result to Punk and The Elite being stripped of their championships. Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive discussed the situation between CM Punk and The Elite on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live. According to Alvarez, Punk’s side of the story that mentioned The Elite kicking down his doors were said to not be true and the promotion’s Senior VP and Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh was present when the major brawl broke out.

Bryan Alvarez also noted that the morale backstage seems to be good after the talent meeting that was held prior to last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite and that they definitely don’t feel good about what happened, but they have put things behind them. Alvarez then mentioned that what Punk said in regards to The Young Bucks leaking things to him or Dave Meltzer about Colt Cabana is not true.

This is what Bryan Alvarez said:

“I did hear that they did a ‘rah rah’ speech before the show and the feeling that I got from people was that people felt good last night.” “They felt united. This is behind them in a lot of ways. Whatever happens, people feel – I don’t know how to explain it. It’s not like they feel good about what happened because they don’t…”

“I didn’t get anything about CM Punk and Colt Cabana or anything from The Young Bucks.”
