Betting Odds For CM Punk’s First Opponent In AEW Revealed

It was previously reported that former WWE Superstar CM Punk has been in talks for a potential return to in-ring competition, but that his in-ring return will reportedly not happen in the WWE. Punk’s in-ring return was reportedly scheduled to take place at the All Out PPV Event on September 5th from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, which is a suburb of CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago, but signs now point to CM Punk making his debut earlier than planned, which is from inside the United Center in Chicago on August 20th for the First Dance special episode of AEW Rampage.

Speaking of CM Punk, betting odds for his first opponent in AEW have been revealed and they are Darby Allin or Daniel Bryan, who is also rumored to sign with AEW soon and is expected to make his debut at the Grand Slam special episode of Dynamite from inside the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York on September 22nd. Darby Allin may have teased facing CM Punk on his AEW debut as well as when Punk will be making his AEW debut, when he referenced him by saying the phrase “Best in the World” on Dynamite.
