Fuego Del Sol Comments On His All Elite Wrestling Future

One of AEW’s fastest rising Star in Fuego Del Sol, who signed with the promotion back in August 2021, made the pro wrestling world wonder and speculate that he could be on his way out of the company soon when he changed the profile picture of his Twitter account to an all-black image, while also removing all references and mentions of All Elite Wrestling and posting only a single tweet that said, “Change is going to come.” Del Sol also changed his Twitter bio to a booking email in case any promoters were interested in contacting him.

Fuego Del Sol recently took to his Twitter account and posted a video in regards to the rumors of him possibly leaving All Elite Wrestling and said that pro wrestling is all about how a wrestler presents themselves as well as the momentum that wrestler is able to gain. Fuego then noted that he thought he had all of the momentum in the world after he signed his contract with the company and he was finally being recognized for his talent as a wrestler, but he was losing so many matches and the more matches he lost on AEW programming, the more he felt his momentum was dying and the less he felt he was being taken seriously.

The AEW Star then said even though he posts comedy videos on YouTube with his friends, he still wants to be taken more seriously and he has been doing so with his new look, move set and attitude and that he is destined for greatness and he refuses to wait any longer. Fuego then said fans should watch him defeat QT Marshall in their match on a recent episode of AEW Dark and regardless of what show he will be on next, he will take over the wrestling world.

Fuego made his AEW debut on the June 9th, 2020 episode of AEW Dark, when he teamed with Low Rida in a losing effort to Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky. Fuego was then involved in a storyline with former AEW TNT Champion Miro, where he had to defeat Miro to earn an AEW Contract and the become the AEW TNT Champion. Fuego ultimately lost the match, but his best friend Sammy Guevara made his way down to the ring and gave Fuego an AEW Contract with the approval of AEW President and CEO Tony Khan.

Prior to his recent match on AEW Dark, Fuego Del Sol last competed for AEW on the July 6th episode of AEW Dynamite when he teamed up with Bear Country (Bear Bronson and Bear Boulder) and Leon Ruffin in a losing effort to The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and Gunn Club’s Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn in an 8-Man Tag Team Matchup. Aside from his appearances on AEW Dynamite, Fuego Del Sol has also appeared on quite a number of episodes of AEW Rampage and has also been a regular on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation, where he was put in a tag team with Fuego 2 (former AEW Star Cody Rhodes). Fuego has not only been competing for AEW, but he has also been wrestling on the Indie scene for companies such as Warrior Wrestling, CPW and Pale Pro Judges.
