MJF Has Heated Exchange With A UFC Fighter Paddy Pimblett

Paddy Pimblett, a UFC fighter, may not be well-known in the wrestling scene, but he’s certainly attempting to alter that after an online exchange with the newly-crowned AEW World Champion MJF. On social media, the UK native recently challenged the “Salt of the Earth” to an MMA bout.

It should be remembered that Pimblett is 3-0 in the UFC and 19-3 in total MMA contests. In 2023, AEW will make their UK debut in London. It all started after Pimblett implied that MJF wouldn’t be able to pass a USADA test for an octagon bout, the AEW world champion, who told MMA Fighting in 2020 that he has a boxing history, struck back.

See you around “baddy”.

MJF acknowledges he isn’t the biggest MMA fan, but he keeps up with the sport and tries to watch the main events as they happen. As a real student of the pro wrestling game, MJF, like many others, feels that MMA’s foundations, particularly in narrative and rivalry building, stem from what has made pro wrestling so successful over the years.

On Tuesday, MJF turned to social media to release a snapshot from an internet interaction between himself and Pimblett, in which “The Baddy” challenged him to a “serious fight,” which MJF appeared to accept when AEW makes its debut in London in 2023.
