Tony Khan Reveals Plans To Run AEW Live Events This 2023

Ever since its inception back on January 1st, 2019, All Elite Wrestling has really been making a name in the pro wrestling industry and they have been garnering global recognition and major successes all around the world and they have even been reaching worldwide audiences and markets. With the promotion having surpassed 4 years in the industry, they have become a world-wide recognized company and is the second biggest wrestling company in the world, next to the WWE.

All Elite Wrestling has so far only held one live event since they were launched 4 years ago as their main focus has been weekly television programs and quarterly PPV Events and that show was called “The House Always Wins,” which took place on April 9, 2021, but with the company recently hiring wrestling legend Jeff Jarrett to be the Director of Business Development, many believe that AEW will be running more live events in 2023.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan had a conversation with In The Zone on if he is planning to run house shows or live events this 2023. According to the AEW President, that is something they have discussed a lot and there is definitely a lot of demand for AEW live events and since that is something the AEW roster wants to do, that is something the company is going to do.

This is what Tony Khan said:

“Well, it’s a great question. Yeah, I have. That’s something we are talking about. We have a great live events team with Rafael Morffi, Chris Harrington and a bunch of great people I work with. Now Jeff Jarrett has come in. It’s something we’ve talked a lot about and building out the live event business. There is definitely a lot of demand for AEW live events, and now we have this big great strong roster that wants to do these live events, so I think that is something we’re going to do.”
