John Cena Teases His WWE WrestleMania 39 Opponent

WWE will be holding their WrestleMania 39 Premium Live Event on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2 from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California and the company is looking to stack their card and make it the biggest WrestleMania of all time based on recent reports of who the promotion wants to bring back and the matches they want to have.

A source in the WWE told WrestlingNews.co that one of the matchups internally listed for WrestleMania 39 is 16-time World Champion John Cena vs. social media Superstar Logan Paul, but there’s no word yet on how the WWE will set this match up, though Logan has said in past interviews that John Cena is his dream opponent and he wants the match to take place at WrestleMania. Fightful Select reports that WWE is hopeful Logan Paul can make an appearance at the 2023 Royal Rumble Event later this month and that they can have him train in time for a match.

John Cena is known to post teasers on his Instagram account of his potential future opponents or even to promote his upcoming WWE appearances and Cena posted a picture of Logan Paul with his brother Jake Paul, while holding his replica WWE Championship belt. Logan is currently out of action due to a torn meniscus and MCL, which he suffered during his match against Roman Reigns for The Head Of The Table’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WWE Crown Jewel last November.
