News On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Elimination Chamber Status

The road to WrestleMania 39 has officially begun with the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event in the rearview, but before we get to The Show Of Shows this coming April 1st and 2nd, the WWE will hold their next Premium Live Event known as Elimination Chamber on Saturday, February 18th inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Following WWE RAW last Monday, two matches were made official for the 2023 WWE Elimination Chamber Event and those matches are WWE United States Champion Austin Theory defending his WWE United States Title against Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, Johnny Gargano and two more opponents inside of the Elimination Chamber and a Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, where the winner will challenge WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair for her WWE RAW Women’s Title at WrestleMania.

As previously reported, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns is expected to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn in the main event of later this month’s WWE Elimination Chamber Event, but that has yet to be confirmed and there has been rumors and speculations that Brock Lesnar will be competing on the show.

Dave Meltzer reported on a recent Wrestling Observer Daily Update that as things currently stand “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar is “supposed to be” making an appearance at Elimination Chamber, but it is likely that he won’t be competing on the show, though Lesnar could be doing something with Lashley to further their program and build towards a rubber match, possibly taking place at WrestleMania 39.
