Reason Why Several WWE NXT Stars Have Not Appeared On TV

A number of months ago, WWE shut down their NXT UK brand and announced they will be launching the NXT Europe brand sometime in 2023 and as a result, a few NXT UK Stars were brought to the main NXT brand, while the rest of them were given their release. The talents from NXT UK have been put into different angles and storylines over the past few months, but they haven’t been appearing on NXT TV as of late.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the NXT UK Stars, who have been involved in injury angles, have not been appearing on television due to visa issues and being put on the shelf or being suspended are actually code words for visa issues, but a few of these NXT UK Stars are actually injured.

This is what Dave Meltzer said:

“Yeah, they’re either injured, which actually is a codeword for getting their visas worked on in some cases, and suspended, which is also a codeword for getting their visas worked on. And guys actually injured.”

Javier Bernal called out a number of these NXT UK Stars on this past Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT and majority of them are unavailable at the moment, including Gallus, Ilja Dragunov and Axiom.
