Triple H Had Least Interest In Bringing An AEW Couple To WWE

Triple H is one of the biggest names in the wrestling business. He is a former wrestler, who has seen the entire gamut of functions that help run a business. He has a creative thought process that is beyond what others expect out of him.

The Cerebral Assassin has taken command of the creative department since July 25th in his control and fans can agree that the content has become exceptional since that moment. It also raised opportunities for people returning to the WWE.

WWE superstars have returned, and even released superstars have found their way back to the WWE. While some have made the way, some others are still finding it hard to make their way back to the wrestling juggernaut.

Is Triple H’s Vision Causing Less Returns?

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H is said to have spoken with AEW couple Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett about bringing them back into the fold. However, neither side benefited from the discussions.

Kanellis, Bennett, and Matt Taven, known collectively as The Kingdom, signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling a few weeks ago. The faction debuted on the October 14 episode of AEW Rampage in Toronto, Canada, by challenging FTR for the ROH World Tag Team Titles and later assaulting them. They were previously members of the villainous group Honor No More in IMPACT Wrestling.

Fightful Select reported that Taven generated interest, but neither party could reach a threshold and therefore the discussions were off the table for the two parties. It would be interesting to know what Hunter had in mind for The Kingdom.
